YWCA Greater Austin staff onboards new cohorts of volunteer staff every spring, summer, and fall. With the high turnover of volunteers and limited staff to train them, this volunteer onboarding eLearning module was created to serve as a primer about the organization and reduce overall onboarding time. An additional goal was to establish awareness of the entire gamut of YWCA Greater Austin programming, and thereby increase volunteer participation in multiple program areas, as opposed to only participating in their specialty area. To enhance organizational cross-functionality, this module features concise program descriptions with scaffolded interactive elements, emphasizing each program's alignment within YWCA's social justice model. The organization expects to decrease total onboarding time and increase staff's confidence describing the organization's work to potential clients and donors.

Bell Property Management hired three new apartment managers within the past two months across their properties. Despite having gone through orientation with existing training materials, new property managers continue to consult their supervisors around twice a day, and management would like to decrease this to twice a week or less. With move-out season approaching from mid-May and mid-September, this training features scenario-based interactivity that will help property managers retain the information they need carry out procedures efficiently.
